About Me :D

Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie Herrera but most people prefer to call me Rikku,
I am a senior attending Poly High and I'm the girls' varsity captain for Poly's one and only Cross Country team.
Currently, i am enrolled in six different clubs: Poetic Voices, NHS, Senior Council, Animal Lovers club, Soccer Club, and the Debate club.
Yes, indeed i do enjoy writing poems. I also enjoy to draw, read and when i have time (which i don't anymore ]:) play video games.
I know what your assuming "A girl? play video games? ha-ha" Well yes although i may be a female i do enjoy my video games. I enjoy playing any type from Final Fantasy to Devil May Cry etc etc. I enjoy board games, puzzle games, computer games anything with the term "game" in it.

I have a different point of view on nature than most people would figure. I adore your essential rain day, foggy day, cold humid day, sunny day, bleak day and etc. Any day is a fantastic day in my book regardless of what the weather man says.
Besides nature, i have quite an eye for anime, manga and etc.
"A mexican-american with an interest in asian objects? oh yeah right!"
Although i may not be asian, i appreciate mostly the Japanese culture...why? because i grew up this way.

I tend to be very stubborn when it comes down to my values and morals. For instance, you will never see a male or female friend carry my books (unless my arm is broken) because i can indeed carry my own things!
"But what about opening a door for someone?" Well i can open my own door but i must add that i do open doors for others...
I was taught to stand on my own two feet and be very independent.

Referring back to the cross country topic i can in fact keep a proper hard-working schedule..
"How is it that you find the time to balance your academic activity's and curricular activities?" Well it is very stressful but i manage to cope because in the long run i will benefit from all of it. Currently, i have benefited the trait of responsibility. I have also benefited to learn how to take risks, handle the risks with all possible outcomes. This had made me a better person because now I'm am not capable of failure or dropping out from my duties. i am capable of withstanding the pressures thrown at me while still living a happy acceptable life.

I have a slight distaste in writing about myself sometimes because i wasn't born to appreciate myself in this aspect, actually there are certain limits. One thing i can say is that i tend to be very approachable so please feel free to approach me if there are any questions, comments or concerns.
